What this rebuild is built from, what is missing, and what was generated.
The company’s site is gone. rhqcreative.com now serves a parking page. What survives in the Internet Archive: the Projects page and the Investor page (both June 2025), plus the image set and stylesheet from the studio’s earlier Astro build (August 2024).
The play counts, the chart placements, the island links and the investor text are quoted from those captures. The images are the studio’s own.
Where it came from
- Projects/projects/, captured 2025-06-23 — three maps, play counts, chart badges and the Fortnite island links. Kept in _tools/archive/original-pages/projects.html.
- Investors/careers/investor/, captured 2025-06-23 — the investor copy, reproduced in full on the investors page.
- ImagesThe crown logo, the header triptych, the lobby render, the two map thumbnails and fourteen creator portraits, from the 2024 build’s _astro assets.
- PaletteFrom the studio’s own stylesheet: Tailwind greys #111827, #374151, #9ca3af, #e5e7eb on near-black. The accent green is chosen for this rebuild.
- TypeThe page loaded Anton and Inter Tight from Google Fonts; both are self-hosted here.
- SocialsInstagram, YouTube, X and TikTok links, as published on the site.
What is missing
- The home page, About, Team, Awards and Careers pages. Only Projects and the investor page were captured with content; the root URL was already redirecting to a parked page when it was archived.
- Any written copy about the studio. The site never had a captured “about us” text, so the short descriptions on this rebuild are structural (what the maps are, what the studio does) rather than quoted.
- The FNCS film. The site served /fncs.mp4 — 59.7 MB. The archive delivers it at roughly 20 kB/s and the download timed out at 4.9 MB, so it could not be recovered.
- Email and postal addresses. None appear in the captured pages, so none is invented.
- Team roles. The fourteen portraits are named only by their file names; the site published no roles or biographies with them.
The loop
The eight-second loop on the home page is not gameplay footage. It is a slow pan across the studio’s own header image, generated for this rebuild.
Deviations, stated plainly
- Seven pages instead of the original’s larger set. Pages with no recoverable content are represented by the pages that do have content; nothing is linked that has nothing behind it.
- The markup is new. The original was Astro; this is static HTML, one stylesheet and one small script.
- Play counts and placements are the studio’s figures, not independently verified by this rebuild.
- The accent green is a design choice; the greys come from the studio’s own CSS.
- Not affiliated with RHQ Creative LLC, Fortnite or Unreal Engine — the studio’s own footer makes the same disclaimer.
